A Decorated Byzantine Fire Bomb | 9th-11th century AD

This hand grenade has a beautiful and unique pattern, and the cone-shaped ceramic vessel is well decorated and shows a band of pellets. This comes with a paper by Dr Raffaele D'Amato, a military specialist. Dated 15th July 2019, it is titled 'Eastern Roman Empire - Greek Fire Bomb or Hand Grenade'.
