An Egyptian Hieroglyphic Shabti | Late Period, 664-332 BC.

This is a glazed composition shabti with a dorsal pillar and square base mounted on a custom-made wooden, brown painted, square block. The body itself has an overall blue colouring and a face, beard and wig. In fair condition, repaired.

Provenance: Purchased in 2020 from a London specialist auction. Property of a Brussels gallery; acquired on the European art market in the early 1980s.
