A Greek Blackware Guttos | 5th-3rd century BC

This ceramic Guttos is large in size, black-glazed, and has a trumpet-like spout. The overall body is wide with minor paint missing on one side of the body. The wide strap handle is long and tall and a small lid is at the top of the body. The gutto is in fine condition.

Provenance: Purchased in 2020 from a London specialist auction. Formerly property of a European gentleman living in London; previously from an English collection formed in the 1980s.
