An Ancient Greek Pottery Small Tubular-body Askos Vessel | 4th century BC

The Greek Campanian Askos Vessel has a mounted tubular body, a diagonal spout and a horizontal strap handle. The vessel is in fine condition with general surface wear to the glaze, as seen in the photos. The stripes and dots used for decoration have been painted in black.

Provenance: Purchased by the current owner in 2020 in UK, Wiltshire. From: H.G. Collected since 1970. Ex Private collection UK. Acquired from CHARLES EDE LTD., inventory no. 8413.
