An Egyptian Hieroglyphic Shabti | Late Period, 664-332 BC

The figure of the Shabti shows a face, beard and wig. It has a long body and is blue in colouring from top to bottom, however, some of that colour has faded. Towards the lower half there is a hairline crack and this piece has been repaired, otherwise this is in a fair condition.

Date: Late Period, 664-332 BC
Size: 105 mm

Provenance: Purchased in 2020 from a London auction house. From an English private collection; acquired in the 1970s.
