A Byzantine Pillar Oil Lamp | 6th-8th century AD

This is a terracotta lamp with a tall pillar. At the top of the lamp, a lion's claw sits with a nozzle to each claw. There is a reflector to the rear that is decorated with a geometric ornament. The terracotta lamp has white pigmentation throughout.
