A Terracotta Egyptian New Kingdom Ushabti Figure | 20th Dynasty, c.1550 - 1070 BC

This is a very fine and intact example of a New Kingdom terracotta shabti figure, with clear facial features, the wig with black pigment. The top half of the body is a terracotta red-orange colour whereas the bottom half of the figure is mostly covered in white pigment features.

Date: Egypt, New Kingdom, 20th Dynasty, c. 1550 - 1070 BC.

Provenance: Previously with M.A, UK 2020.  Ex. private collection, UK; acquired in 2006. Previously private collection, California, USA; acquired mid to late 20th Century.
