A Western Asiatic Single-Edged Knife | 16th-18th century AD

This is a hand-forged iron single-edged knife with a T-section blade. The knife curves back and has a scooped grip with rivets. Possibly a pesh-kabz or similar weapon, in fine condition.

Provenance: Purchased in 2020 from a London specialist auction. Property of an Essex collector; acquired on the UK art market; formerly in an early 1990s private collection.
